If you are talking about the 'bearing machine' where they spin a race and push a ball/metal against it, you can 'rig it', sort of anyway.  The secret is to have a lube with zinc or moly in it.  I've seen Head and Shoulder shampoo pass 'the test' because it was high in zinc.

Maybe someone smarter than me will chime in and explain lubes and additives much better.
