Have been running precision planting meters for years really like them take to very good dealer every winter for inspection an whatever takes to keep up with maintence on them costs us about 200-300 dollars a year if i remember right cheap insurance to know should not have a problem with them. We take them off as soon as done planting blow out an put in plastic containers an store in shed to keep dry. Not saying we do it right but works for us, also have a spare whole meter in case one acts up over the weekend have had for 6 years never used it yet.
