Rural Valley pa | Works for raising ph and mag levels but have stopped using it over the Years. There is a plant 20 miles from me and Harsco bought it out a few years back. Here they have a restriction of 1 ton per year for 80 years because of heavy metals in it. Basically they are grinding steel mill slag and recovering metals from it so beware it looks like and smells like Portland cement. And left in the field for a few months it will start turning in to a cement block. We have stopped getting it her because of poor quality spend more time sorting out chunks then spreading lime and this is supposed to be screened. Your supplier out that way may take better care of the product. | |
