It doesn't matter what you use to mount it as long as its good and stable. The bracket and supplied bolts are nice, but trimble sends you a bunch of extra hardware that doenst get used and it ends up costing you more. If you dont want to spend the money for the trimble parts, get creative and make your own, shouldnt hurt anything.......
