Sorry I didn't update like I said I would...... just a lot on my mind besides the cow.
Vet came out later today, played with the cow quite a while. Ended up drawing blood and we are in a kind of wait and see mode.
We have her by herself with just grass hay. She did seem more alert this afternoon, but she is still not eating much, if anything at all.
Vet could not get her to 'ping' and the vet tried for quite a while. Vet speculated on some stuff, tubed her but got no gas. Cow is passing just a little poop yet.
Pretty much decided to give the cow a couple days and see what happens. Might be a twisted gut, but vet wasn't positive and really didn't want to cut the cow up without being positive. In 2-3 days if the cow is the same will likely do surgery. | |
