I have returned to our farm/ranch operation full time now and looking for ways to keep it going for the next generation. I have always heard that if you aren't trying to expand or diversify you are going backwards. It would be financialy easier for me to do it in open lots. I was thinking about a 400 hd barn to get started. We have 150 mama cows and the rest would either be custom fed cattle or go out and buy calves to hit the 400 head mark. | |
