Driftless SW Wisconsin | This topic comes up regularly. I am always surprised at the number of replies that do not remove the netwrap. Last I heard plastic was not a forage crop, even in little pieces.
I have had calls from planter row cleaner customers about their trashwheels picking up net wrap in the field. This is often from blowing bedding from a bale processor into pens without removing the netwrap. You know where that stuff is going to end up!
If a planter can still pickup netwrap in the field a year or two later, it can't be good for the inside of a cow.
