Subject: Corn on Corn on low fertility soils?

SE IA
Got a farm that I am thinking about doing Corn/Corn. Soil tests has fairly low P1 and K (for my liking). Last year (1st year corn) I put on 250# of potash, and 150# of MAP. Also had some hog manure broadcast and incorporated (2500 Gal) put on a year ago. Corn yields were descent this last year considering drought. I want to go Corn/Corn to try to start building OM, so I put on another 200# of potash, and 150# of MAP. Corn/corn has the most stress of any kind of corn and I want to make sure I have the fertility there to support Corn/Corn. I will have starter available to put on another 30 units of N and 15 units of P as well. Have I put enough fertilizer (P/K) on to grow a descent corn crop assuming I get on enough N?
