Southeastern NC | The farm I work with just purchased two 16 row Deere 1770NT planters with Deere row command clutches. We already have a 20/20 monitoring system and were intending on using it on the new planter to monitor seeding. We also have Trimble FmX's which are used for guidance and controlled tru-count air clutches on our old planters. Trying to figure out the best way to control the deere clutches on the new planter. Row flow's ability to automatically calibrate clutch start and stop delays sounds like a really nice feature. Anyone have experience with row flow? Also does row flow allow you to preload areas of the field you don't want planted(such as waterways)? I assume you can do this but how good/smooth does the software to make these files work? We would like to use our existing Trimble fld iq rate/section module (which has been controlling the row clutches) to do rate and section control on spraying off the back of the planter.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks. | |
