I never worry about what any ones bible says but as noted in other posts the so called 'bad language' is really just a habit often passed on by a persons family or learned from those you associate with at school, work or play.

The choice of what is a bad word is determined by society around you as i had an aunt who was English came to Canada as a young woman married to my Canadian uncle after meeting her during WW II.
Her use of the english language included words that were not totally unacceptable in Canadian society but not quite acceptable either.
Just the way she was raised and the way they talked 'over home'.

Personally have mostly worked alone through my years and when i smack my finger probably mutter some unacceptable word but really never use anything that would be considered 'foul' in public or even around my family.
Probably because I am not sure I ever remember my father using a swear word even when things were falling apart all around him.
Drat was about the worse he ever used.
