| I have found that I get a win more often if I wait until the last minute to place that one price honest bid. Otherwise with an early bid I just set the selling price, one increment above my bid standing for days. Having my bid out there lets someone explore until they win by that one increment. If I bid in the last minute or less they don't have as much time to bid in small increments, they have to go bigger and don't always do that.
