 I have both.

Biggest issue will be lack of frame suspension. There are a few brands that offer it and they likely are worth the extra cost, but I did not buy one, so I cant say any about those factory suspensions.

 If you can hitch it to the tractor via 2 point, it will surprise you how good the towing manners are. I have one drawbar hitched pt and one 2 point hitched pt. Both do very well, but I do like the 2 point a bit better.

 My sp is an articulated steering type, so even though it has narrower booms, they do wip a bit more than the wide pt sprayers. 

 Ya have to do what ya have to do, but pt sprayers, used, are quite affordable and if you take the time to really look it over and find a cared for one, IMO, you will like having that extra capacity when the window for getting stuff done is upon you.
