We test drove the 5.0 for about 15 miles. It only took 2 miles in the Ecoboost to convince us that torque is what you want. How often is the 5.0 going to be in its peak torque curve? Not much. How often is the turbo engine going to be in its peak torque curve? Almost all the time. We are concerned about the cost of fixing a turbo though.
