SC
I feel like a part of my success is the fact that the last 4 or 5 generations of my family have had the self discipline and work ethic and luck to leave the following generation a little more than they started with. It gets divided by however many siblings you have but then there is the motivation to build it back up to something by buying out siblings or adding land elsewhere. My family has always valued education as well as land and they are both a great gift to leave the next generation. My parents are gone and the 160 acres I inherited were a great gift that could have been spent several generations ago. I know they sacrificed a lot to hang on to it and I will too. What scares me is that there are so many people in this country that think I have been given an unfair advantage and am not entitled to what my family has sacrificed to achieve.
