I said my nephew gave me this early present, not that he made it.  I can see how that statement could be misleading.  Aaron said he saw this ear of corn completed, and knew of my fondness for planting and harvesting corn, and had to buy it for me. 

Not that Aaron does not have any talents, he is able to do many things.  However, his chainsaw talents are like mine, limited to cutting firewood and trimming trees and bushes.  I once attempted a chainsaw carving project after visiting FPS years ago, about all I got was a pumpkin like face cut through the bark before I gave up.  I had shown that to Aaron, which might have been in his mind when he bought the ear for me.  It's great to have such a careing relative!
