Baldwin City, KS | A guy up the road from our shop told me he was having 4 round bales delivered for $150 a bale. He told me he was the one that offered that money and the hay guy accepted. Well of course he did! I'd stuck my foot in my mouth earlier and mentioned that I would be doing good to feed my cows clear through the first of May and didn't have extra. I might have scrounged up 4 bales for $600, had I known how bad he wanted some for his wifes horses. | |
