Depends on alot of things.Size of the feedlot.How close to water?Feedlots here over 1000 hd?? aren't allowed any run off even with outside pens.So they are allowed but no runoff is allowed.

So you have to dig a lagoon to catch runoff then pump it on the field.

EPA has no say in small lots yet!!
