Woodham, Ontario | If you are getting a new(er) planter with SeedstarXP with Active Pneumatic Downforce, then you have most of the features that a 20/20 with airforce will do for a lot less money. A 20/20 would be a waste of money. If you do not have SeedstarXP with Active downforce then the 20/20 may provide you with additional info and downforce control.
A 2630 can be used to run SeedstarXP, BUT it is not included. Seedstar2 on a 2630 will not give you same functionality as a 20/20. You need to find out if the planter has SeedstarXP.
I have a 2012 1770NT 16-row CCS with SeedstarXP and Active downforce and it worked great this spring. I pulled it behind a 7230R and the only wire coming into the cab was for the foldbox. Everythign else ran on the 2630 and armrest display. | |
