We have a 5000lb toyota, indoor/outdoor. We've never had anything it wouldn't lift. We got some very heavy duty forks on it, (6'x8"x1.5") they've come in very handy and we use them like a workbench sometimes as you can stand between them. I'd recommend some wheel chains if you have any snow or ice. Also a block heater, if needed in your region. Side shift is really nice, but they turn so sharp if it doesn't have its not a huge problem. Here's a pic carrying a 30ft wagon rack from one end.
