When I was growing up I remember advertisements for high yielding irrigated corn ground cheap in Dalhart,Tx. That would be middle'60's in Farm Quarterly magazine...think Tx. ground with irrigation and claim of 150 bu. corn then was $600 acre...and they also had Brazil farms advertized for .50-$1 acre....MY dad as a young boy seen the huge dust storms here in southern ontario
