NW Central Ohio
...I was thinking $10 is a little low, but I was also wondering if $20 for part time help was a little high. I base that on union scale employees working with heavy equipment around here. A union operator for heavy equipment in the pipeline maintenance field is being paid somewhere around $25/hour right now. He has health benefits taken out, insurance taken out, and union dues taken out. So he probably nets somewhere around $17-18/hour. I'd say you're being paid just a little low, especially if he can trust you to work with anhydrous. Tell him before the fall is over that you don't think you can work for the same amount next year...and see what he comes up with over the winter.....
