You can also call Ag Express and tell them what you are doing and they will build the adapter to do it. I have several sets of Ag Leader clutches on Trimble displays. I have built the 6 pin adapters myself but you better know your wireing layout before you try to do that.
I too, have built the adapters and yes, you must understand the wiring layout to be successful. With any of these setups you need to do some testing before planting to be certain that you have them laid out and wired correctly.
My most common adapter set was for a 16 row planter setup in 8 - 2 row sections. Other combinations are possible as well.
