Subject: RE: Tango4 aluminum framed cornhead

Glad I found your post. We are in the market for a corn head and we went to see one of the Allochis aluminum heads. They are well made, light and it looks like they have a lot of great features. We are in the process of going to a dealer next week to make a possible purchase. It appears that a lot of dealers cannot take on this corn head because they have contracts with other manufacturers not to sell other brands. We have spoken to a farmer in Ohio who used it on 800 acres and he is super pleased with the results. He farms around 3,000 acres of corn. We would need a 12 row 20" model. They told us that we could have the head delivered in about 3 months. It appears that repair parts are not an issue and can be sent overnight right now. I can tell you more after we talk to the dealer next week as far as price comparison and exact weight.
