WCIN | My cameras are all outdoor rated. Currently I have 2 inside (1 in shop, 1 in pole barn) and 2 outside (1 watching drive at remove loc, 1 watching gas/fuel pumps). They are all 110v powered, so yes, if the power goes off they won't work. 2 cameras are 3000 ft away from the office computer. The signal is transmitted from a "nano" antenna to a reciever antenna at the office. The wire from the antenna goes to the router and dvr for recording. I have had a semi and a 1ton pu stolen in the last 6 months so I was forced to get some kind of security. Hope this answers some of your questions. My brother has some of the Fostec equipment mentioned above and he is happy with it. | |
