Was the gasket replaced on the plate that holds the seal?
Was the bolts installed with Loc tite that hold the plate?
The seal is a dummy proof install providing the correct install tool was used.
The soft plug on the rear of the cam at the block can leak also. Some of these plugs have a small o ring behind them.
