Subject: Re: repairing roll tarp

fredericksburg, va
For my "tarps" I used commercial roofing . It comes in a roll 10 feet wide and like 300 feet long ( it come in 2 kinds with and without fiber). Anyway the people that install it will also sell you the glue that they use to splice it together, it comes in a pinkish-purple can and is around 25 dollars I think the name is Carlilse????. Might give that a try before removing the whole tarp. They may try to sell you some cleaner too but regulare no-lead gas will work just fine. The glue needs heat to set up. And it is sticky and slimy I always wear plastic through away gloves. Probly ought to practice with some before you get up on top of trailer.
