John I am glad you replied. When I reread my post it sounded different than I meant it. I was curious and skeptical cuz I was very close to talking a policy myself this year but after reading the experiences of fellow NAT members I chickened out. I felt the risk was greater than the reward. Knowing what I know now I still am not sure I would take out a policy but here we are in November and still have not recieved the moisture we need to recharge the soil profile after having a year where we recorded 8.5 inches of snow and 6.12 of rain from spring until harvest.
I just felt the Top Producer article was more of an advertisement than news to us
