| I have a JD 4230 with powershift that will not go into road gear. I can put it into gear but when I let off the clutch it makes the grinding sound that every rookie makes driving their first stick shift car, then eventually pops out of gear. I had the same problem with my 3020 but I had that completely overhauled about a year ago by a guy who claims he specializes in 3000 series said he didn't notice anything wrong but he basically replaced the whole trans. I'd like to bypass that if at all possible on my 4230. Anyone ever have the same problem and have a quick solution? | |
