Subject: Re: Trimble / ag leader divorce

Clatonia, NE
Trimble has better hydraulic kits and support a wider array of platforms. The platforms supported by AutoFarm (Ag Leader) are fine. In the assisted steering world, EZ Steer is much better for rolling over terraces (terrain comp). For some reason (even the new Ontrac II+) Ag Leader can't figure out how to hold a straight line rocking over terraces. The GeoSteer and ParaDyme can do it, but the Ontrac systems cannot. I like everything else about the Ontrac II .... other than it seems like I'm having some clutches starting to wear out (not a cheap fix off warranty)!
