I would also make it fit the quick attach not the forks, should be much more stable. If you are going to the trouble of building from scratch I would make it 5 plus feed deep and 10-12 feet long. Then you could put a full sheet of plywood in it and cut it up there if you need too. I would also put electrical outlets in it with a good cord, so you don't have to fight extension cords that come apart on the ground when you are in the air, and maybe a ring for a safety harness line for the non AT approved things you will do once you have it.
