Same thing on my 2006 Volvo, plastic lens, polished for an hour, looked good but didn't fix the problem, Brights OK, just the dim side getting hazy. 470,000 miles and only replaced 1 dim bulb, do those halogen bulbs loose there candle power with age, I don't know but a friend said new bulbs would really help, did on his pickup.
