Man i will take army worms any day compared to these grubs. Some much more $ to treat and replant.I am eat up with grubs and they are destroying my fescue and orchard grass fields.None of my neighbours have them and i blame mine on chicken litter.

I hear ya. Lost 30 acres of new alfalfa this year....lots and lots of grubs wherever the alfalfa killed out. Local agronome said there is no chemical treatment. He advised tillage and give the birds a feast. I tried the offset disk but all that did was throw dirt back on top of them after I dug them up. Then I tried the mold board plow.......you should have seen the sea gulls........hundreds of them. Only problem was the gulls went away after a while. I think they got full. I had to adapt my schedule to the gulls.
