| Sometimes when there is down corn, groups will volunteer to pick up the ears off the ground as a fundraiser. In general though, they usually sell the corn back to the farmer. One guy last year, after a late season devastating hail storm, hired a bunch of Mexicans to pick up the corn after it had been adjusted by fed crop. I think he got to boasting about it a little too much and someone called RMA. Not sure how it turned out. | |
