Subject: Moving Deck Plates on a 1063?

tennessee
New head to me this year and with the small cobs out there I'm losing to much corn. My deck plates need to be moved in, I tried to loosen the bolts that hold them down and they are so rusted/frozen up that I can't do it. Tried heating one of them and the whole bolt was twisting. How do I get these free to adjust the plates? I can't just cut em' off cause they go into threads on the bottom side. Would heating from the bottom side be the answer? Hard to get at them from the bottom cause of the weed knives, guess I could take those off.
