S.C. Wisconsin | Bought mine in 2008 and drove all of the other brands. Looking back it was no brainer back then. It's the closet you can get to a 3/4 ton with a half ton. If you study the guts it was better built than the rest. I also wanted a quad cab and back then non of them came close to the Tundra. Also back then it was the only one with a 6 speed transmission with a 4:30 to 1 rear axle which gives it outstanding power but still can get respectable fuel economy when driving without a heavy foot. If I went shopping today it might be a different story. The resale on the Tundra is outstanding so they must have a good reputation. | |
