Subject: Thinking about Farm Works, but don't know anything about it.

Tip of the Thumb of Michigan

First, we have all Trimble stuff, 2-750's and 1-500.  I was thinking about Farm Works.  For now I think I just want to manage A-B's and field names, you know, the stuff you should be able to do in the displays.   I would like to be able to have all the same Lines in each display.   Will I be able to do that?  I've used Farm Works View and find it not super friendly.  I'm sure the more you use it the easier it gets.  After the $750, do you have to pay a yearly update fee?

My dealer has farmworks at the store and will do this stuff for me at shop rate.  It may be cheaper to pay $75 a year to have him do it.  Would I get more use out of it than I think?  I'm not ready to track vehicle usage or that stuff, nor do I have a yield monitor yet.  Thanks.
