| I know what you mean about scotch taps! (main reason I rewired this tractor!!) It's funny how cobbled up tractors can get over the years.. I bought this about 4 years ago, and after 2 years of pulling my hair out trying to figure out why it was such a hard starting tractor.... I jerked out all the wiring that was spliced/taped/wire-nutted/bare/broken....and started over!
apparently, my switch does not have the internal resistor... so I should be good. I still wired a Ignition wire from starter solenoid to coil... even though I don't run a resistor. Just to make sure I have full juice during cranking. | |
