They steer reasonably enough at those speeds with the Autopilot once you've spent some time calibrating them and yes, they do steer like crap at the best of times. However, there is a problem with the hydraulic circuitry that when you raise the boom, the manual over-ride kicks in and shuts the Autopilot auto off. We've spend thousands of $ trying to work around it hydraulically but have ended up coming up with an electronic solution instead. If you don't change the boom height while you are in the field, you won't have a problem. | |
