90% of the problems with a hot water washer will be related to the hot part.

It burns fuel.

They're a lot heavier to move around.

You can burn yourself.

If its cold you can't see.

If its hot, you're a lot hotter.

All that said, if you're washing greasy equipment its the way to go.       For a hog building theres pros and cons both ways.
