| I didn't bin run any this year and bought some thinking I was going to get new genetics and top notch seed, I got seed in bags treated with Raxil that looked worse than my seed that usually comes straight off the combine into the drill and it had a lot of chaff in it too. $14/bag, at 2.5 bushel/acre that is $35/acre for seed where my bin run would cost $4/bushel x 3 bushel/acre = $12/acre. Will not be buying anymore "certified:" seed, Wilkens has me convinced of it. I can buy the new genetics out of the field from the neighbors.
