The main reason I hear biomass being pushed is because agencies such as DNR that own so much land are drooling over all the revenue they think they will get out of harvesting that switchgrass, etc. Without adding those acres to the biomass picture we'll just be swapping corn/bean/wheat acres for switchgrass acres.
