I think there is the potential for an adjustment in the soybean yields. In last month's report, USDA indicated the areas of improved yields were the northern great plains and NW Ia because of timely rains. However, there are areas in W. NC Ia & NW Ia in which both corn and soybeans suffered because of standing water (green beans & mold) & there was some limited frost damage. Informa put the yield at 42.1 ..I don't know about the recent couple of years, but I had understood Informa sends analysts into the field to perform the same measurements as USDA. Measurements are probably tough this year due to scattered spots of SDS.
