More springs and then add weights to the toolbar. I had 4 of the regular springs at 45 lbs each for 180 lbs per row total. I needed adjustment this year so I bought used heavy duty adjustable down pressure springs. Ran them in the 3rd notch (250 lbs I think?) and needed 2400 lbs of weight on an 18 row 22" planter to keep the drive wheels in contact with the ground. I also bought 4 new drive tires for the planter with traction tread on them.
