Elsmore, Kansas | We always no till our after wheat beans but we have grown some very good wheat this year a the straw is crazy thick. I don't have row cleaner but do have a coulter. I'm getting okay...... seed placment were the straw is standing but a can not penetrate the laid over straw or were the combines had to cut it on the ground. I absolutely hate the thought of burning but should i???? How much do i give away by burning??? Is a 70% maybe less stand of beans worth saving the straw??? Help please!!!!!!!!! Thanks! | |
