| I need to buy a chainsaw for around my yard. I have to cut down quite a few trees and don't want to buy something that will get me through 2 trees then die. BUT at the same time I don't want to drop a pile of money on something that could sit in my garage for long periods of time. The trees I need to take down are cedars (i think) and stand about 20-30 feet tall. There are about six of them plus some miscellaneous trimming on other trees in the yard. Lots of saw work but after that I should be good to go. I have a friends bucket truck lined up to take down the trees safely and will be getting help from some more friends who work for beverages! Its a common currency that I have been paid with on many occasions so we are good to go there.
Everything aside....Does a guy go straight for the stihl/(insert your favorite saw here) or get something cheaper?
