| "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
Everlasting life means eternal life/forever. We cannot lose our salvation once we believe on Jesus Christ as our Savior- believing He died for or sins, was buried and resurrected. I am not suggesting that suicide is not a sin, I am pointing out that Christ died for our sin and if you have believed on Him, you will have eternal life with Him.
