North Texas Panhandle Dumas Texas
We like to run it here in the Texas panhandle, but have a problem with "sulfate reducing bacteria" that grows in wells and pipelines. When injecting any fertilizer containing sulfur the bacteria population explodes creating a slime inside the sprinkler pipe , regulators , nozzles and pads. If we really need the sulfur we have injected at a high rate in one cycle and keep pumping water without injecting sulfur fertilizer for a at least a few hours to clean out system of the sulfur.
