Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I've never tried it, but it surprises me that a random speed signal is sent out if the radar out menu item is not active.
We set up many customers this way with great results. You have a wide range of frequencies to choose from on the Trimble. There really is no "correct" number to use as the speed displayed on the receiving device is dependent on the Hz setting from the Trimble AND the Speed Cal on the receiving device.
There would be many pairs of numbers that would work. The goal is to get correct speed on the receiving device.
On my CFX-750 going to a Raven, I think I use 59Hz and set the Raven up with a Speed Cal of 605.
