| We've got 9670, but similar machine. Bearing failure in variable speed feederhouse sheaves (needs to be greased everyday - not 50 hours as recommended), feederhouse reversing gearbox seals, twice, shaft and bearings behind little oil pump for front (despite being religiously greased and full of grease when failure occurred), Countershaft bearings behinds variable speed feederhouse drive (always greased), top unloading auger bearing (caught in rain probably caused failure), two spreader shafts on wide spread option (no chopper on ours), moisture meter continually breaking down, hydraulic hoses not routed properly and rubbing through on one another under cab and hydraulic oil overheating if using 4wd for too long periods (radiators spotless). Other than that not too much wrong. Done 1600 hours and have S680 coming - hopefully they're a lot better. | |
