the Netherlands
The frequency change effects SF1, SF2, all OmniSTAR clients except those working in the United States on MSVE, MSVC or MSVW and any other service in the "lower" part of the L-band spectrum (1525 - 1538 MHz) using an Inmarsat satellite channel. By now, OmniSTAR has finished the change of frequencies world-wide from the 1535 - 1538 MHz bands to the 1539-1540 MHz band and JD are in the middle of changing frequencies. WAAS (broadcasting at the GPS L1 frequency of 1575.42 MHz) and RTK (VHF/UHF radio, cell phone) are not affected.

As for the reason of the changeover, does "Lightsquared" ring a bell?
